Appearance:
Thick waves of ebony hair cascade down below her waist, usually tied up by several feet of scarlet ribbon in a high ponytail. Bangs cover thin eyelashes, which are arched above slanted, crimson eyes that convey a sense of wisdom beyond her years. Susurrus's features are sharp and narrow, but not too harsh. Very pale skin contrasts sharply with her jet-black hair, and there's a couple snow-white snake scales on each cheek.
A slender figure, Susurrus moves with the willowy grace of a dancer, despite her never having taken lessons before. As a fully-grown woman, she does have some curves here and there, but not many for her age and build. Almost all the time, she can be seen swathed in silky, charcoal robes with scarlet trimmings that match the ribbon on her hair, which reach the floor and swish whenever she takes a step. It's a signature style for her, really.
Leathery, bat-like wings with membrane the color of her eyes sprout from her back, but they're usually kept hidden under her roomy raiment. She has a black, thin tail with a soft, paintbrush-like tip, also hidden under her clothes. Most of the time she can be seen with a snake by her side, wrapped around her neck, or loosely draped around the length of her entire body, with varying species. If not one of those scaly reptiles, than an animal of some sort.
Height: 5 feet and 7 inches.
Character Class: Demon.
Residency: A rural, wooden ranch on the outskirts of the Sticks Residence, with a couple fenced and gated fields to its name. Though she raises livestock there, it also serves as an animal shelter, since wild animals pretty much flock to her home and she doesn't know what to do with them, so she adopts them out to anyone willing to take them. There are a great many number of snakes, though, none of which she'll adopt out, usually lazing around on the sunny rooftop. They're not very dangerous, though they may look the part. Locals call it the Menagerie, though it isn't well-known outside of the Agriculture District.
Likes: Animals, animals, animals. Susurrus adores them, and they adore her back. If she had the money and room to keep and care for all the creatures that follow her home, she would. But her favorite species in the Animalia kingdom is the snake, for indescribable reasons. Sometimes she feels that only snakes truly understand her, which may actually be true.
Children come a close second. Many of them gather at her ranch every day, playing with the animals there and, consequentially, chatting with the nice woman running the place, though she doesn't physically say anything back (see personality). They're so sweet and innocent, always full of life and excitement--what's not to love?
Strangely enough, tea is another one of her favorites. A calming, soothing essence captured in a stirringly warm cup? Definitely her cup of tea, pun totally intended. There's nothing she likes more than sitting on the rocking chair of her porch, watching a sunset while sipping chai, maybe green or black or any other flavor, tea from a ceramic mug. She likes to think that this is how she always maintains a calm and collected composure, and maybe it's true.
Finally, nature. Susurrus is constantly surprised by how beautiful and treacherous the wilds can be and is fascinated with all kinds of plants and, of course, animals. Every day, she takes a
