Greetings! This is admin number one (of two) of our pleasant roleplay site we have prepared for you all to enjoy. We will be your conductors for this flight, so we thought we'd take a moment and share a bit about ourselves before we embark. So to start, I would be Satanick; the one calling the shots and the brains of the operation. Also, an asshole. The other admin would be our less-important mascot character whom you'll hear from just below. This thread is just to give everyone a little more personal but formal introductory on us. Let's try to have fun while we're at it, alright?
As far as my interests go, I play games and watch anime when I can, but I also draw, play piano, and quite recently took up roleplaying. Yes. This roleplay thing is very new to me. That said, this would be the third one I've ran alongside that other person down there and those sites were received with a large degree of positivity. As such, running this site is a way for me to continue doing one of the things I enjoy. At least until that person ruins it for me like usual.
I generally like to take it easy and just have fun with the people around me. As such, I tend to talk in a jocular manner with others when it's simple conversation. So don't take it too seriously. You'll get a feel for when I'm joking and when I'm serious as you go along if you don't catch it right away. If it calls for a serious answer though, you'll get one. That said, I am an admin and will do my job. I've seen admins who get mad over harsh criticism towards them, and ones that openly insult their members. Not cool. If you want to make a suggestion, didn't like how an in-character event was handled or so-forth, feel free to speak up. We want to work with our members to make a better board, and I certainly didn't become an admin to go on a power trip. You could say my mission statement would be 'The admin works for the members, not the other way around.' Sadly, I see a lot of people who fail to grasp that idea. As such, me and my partner aim to make a community, not a dictatorship.
Also, for clarification's sake I play "God" on the board. As narcissistic and cheap sounding as it is to play a literal 'God' in a roleplay with others, I hope you'll find it in your heart to give him(and me) a chance. We felt that playing as these lead characters would make it easier to run Plot Events(hint-hint. those will happen.) and so forth, and to create a better experience for everyone involved. Either way, God is certainly quite a fellow. He's just a tired, young-looking, old man who's having a little trouble fitting in with times while he's completing his collection of dinosaur figurines. That, and dealing with his leading counterpart.
